ABOUT

Based in between Barcelona and Brussels, focus on the creation of lighting dramaturgy from conceptual research and emotional imagery. Great interest in complex compositions that inquires disruptive, asymmetrical and non-homogeneous aesthetics. Explores installactives aspects between light and space altogether with the audience experiential involvement.

Committed to the successful execution of projects through technical, artistic and managerial cross-collaboration: creative process methodologies, design project management, technical planning, teams coordination.

Graduated from the Escola Superior de Tècniques de les Arts de l'Espectacle (Institut del Teatre, Barcelona) in the specialty of lighting technology. Worked as an technician in many festivals and theaters and was the technical director of Sala Hiroshima until 2021. Since then, is working as an creator alongside with artists such as Joaquin Collado, Núria Guiu, Los Sara Fontan, Sonia Gómez, Cecilia Colacrai, Pau Masaló, João Lima, laSADCUM, among others.

In 2023, was selected by Electronic Theatre Controls (ETC) for the international Fred Foster Mentorship Program to create relationship-building opportunities with established world-class lighting industry professionals.

His installation piece Sonho e Tormenta is currently in creation process after being selected by Graner (Mercat de les Flors) in the category Stage Research: Light & Sound for the 2024 Open Call.

While pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, continues to deepen his knowledge and work in the field of contemporary dance, non-conventional staging, innovative dramaturgical structures and art installations.

Is a member of Spain’s lighting designer association (AAI - Asociación de Autores de Iluminación) and offers introductory workshops on lighting technology and dramaturgy, design processes and technical management.

Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, expresses postcolonial Latin American sensoriality and poetics.
